Visit the Village

With up to ten emerging craftspeople at work in their own studios, there is always something new to discover.

The Quidi Vidi Village Plantation is a craft incubator with 10 studio spaces. Artisans rent out a studio where they will work and sell to the public to grow their business. The Plantation provides them with tools such as workshops and training so they can maximize their potential as emerging entrepreneurs.

The Plantation is open to the public with free admission and you can look around as you please. The craft studios are upstairs, with an elevator for accessibility.

Shop Local Craft

Visit and chat with the makers as they work, learn about their creative processes, and find a unique gift for someone special.

Each of the craftspeople who lease studios in the Plantation have passed through a rigorous selection process, and must participate in an extensive training regime.

We welcome the public to come and watch these craftspeople work, and to support them by purchasing some of their fine craft items.
